I talked about the Ammonites....., I mean Mosquitoes who afflicted the location around the venue but I am not sure that in my description I did them adequate justice. These mosquitoes were weighty individuals whose landing harked back to the impact of a Saturn 5 rocket booster landing on the ocean or an elephant landing on its side. Not only could you feel them land, you heard them sing, sometimes in Tenor but often Mezzo Soprano. Some might have had keyboards but I can't verify that. Slapping them often didn't kill them, it just surprised them. You could almost hear them saying, render unto Mosqui the things that are Mosqui's and to God the things which are God's. Now, following the meeting, Pastor emerged from the venue followed by several of us who had formed an impromptu entourage and we had so much to ask and hear that we just wanted to stay there forever. Anyway, Pastor sat down in one of the cars with the door open and we gathered standing around the door of the car with the street lights illuminating him clearly so we were witnesses as to what happened next. Pastor spoke to us regarding the session and the glory of God in the meeting. (I remember he told us that during that Campmeeting some of us would be transfigured) and at first I kept looking around for someone whose face was shining like Moses or who was glowing from head to toe like a fluorescent tube not realising at first that it was more a spiritual transfiguration. As he continued speaking and a few other people joined in, the surrounding Mosquitoes decided that such Campmeeting fellowships were ideal meeting places for their own form of Bitemeeting and within moments we could clearly see and feel the Mosquitoes as they landed, refuelled and took off from us like jets from an aircraft carrier but amazingly, none of them approached Pastor where he was sitting. His hands and face were well lit by the street lamps but none of them were able to land on him. Because we were slapping ourselves so vigorously in an attempt to assasinat....., I mean discourage the Mosquitoes from puncturing us so assiduously Pastor began to laugh at our antics almost as if he were saying, come up higher and there would be no need to slap yourselves. After we finally left Pastor and I got back to my room, I pondered it that night and began to realize that the glory of God functioned like a shield preventing the natural course of life from operating. Years later, when Pastor preached on putting to death the transactions of the body, I gained more light. I also remembered that Pastor preached on how he used to get sick till he decided that the law of the spirit of life in Christ Jesus had made it impossible for the malaria parasites to function in his body but Pastor's revelation was so great that even the delivery mechanism for the Malaria parasites, the Ammonites, recognized that Pastor was not a suitable ground for landing. That also taught me that all living things can see and react to the glory of God. Last night at the IPPC Pastor preached from 2 Corinthians 5:1-4 explaining mortality has been swallowed up of life and that that life would permeate your body from the inside. Pastor Chris said, I live by the law of life. No wonder 26 years ago, the revelation was too great for Mosqui and Co. The moral of the story: The Man of God Rev Dr Chris Oyakhilome has, through the ministry of Believers LoveWorld given us such a rich heritage of faith exploits and adventures in the Holy Ghost reproduced by the CEC members, Pastors and members of our Ministry. These exploits are of such a scope that there is a testimony for every conceivable situation. The understanding gained from this knowledge would give you a great foundation for the exploits, results and accomplishments of faith that will accompany your practical application of all you will hear from our Man of God and his Mighty Men and Women during this epochal conference. The prophetic words highlighted in the archives also explain the transportation of the Holy Ghost that has been so clearly evident through the years, God bearing our Man of God witness, with signs, wonders and mighty deeds.
